My name is Melissa, and I’m passionate about promoting health and wellness, through both a public health and an evidence-based fitness lens.

With a Master's Degree in Public Health from Western Michigan University, a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University, and as a Certified Health Education Specialist by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, I've cultivated a deep understanding of the human body and the myriad factors that influence our well-being. My journey has been shaped by a unique blend of academic pursuits and personal passions, leading me to where I stand today – at the intersection of public health, fitness, and holistic wellness.

My approach is rooted in empathy, science, and real-world experience. I understand the struggles of starting (and restarting) a fitness journey because I've been there myself. That's why I'm passionate about meeting each individual where they are, crafting sustainable strategies that fit into real lives, and addressing wellness from a holistic perspective – encompassing physical health, mental well-being, and overall life balance.
